one gets the impression that you haven't even tried doing even a simple web search for yourself.

Now that the New York Times has opened its archives, you can do a search there on "Federal Reserve" and see just often it appears, indicating its impact on the U.S. economy.

You should be able to do a similar search for "Bank of England" on the BBC site.
