Invasion of the Body Snatchers is my favorite! The remake and the original scared me! The Vampire and Werewolf movie that I really liked both starred Cory Haim is The Lost Boys and Silver Bullet.

vampire--Nosferatu--it may be a silent picture, but it's still genuinely creepy without being hokey. Salem's Lot is my favorite of the modern interpretations

Frankenstein--they haven't improved on the Bride of Frankenstein; a monster movie with a brain

Werewolf--Howling

Zombie--Night of the Living Dead; Dawn of the Dead (original and remake)--I can't pick one over the others
