i have an xbox 360. i can never get rid of it because of three games, mass effect, gears, and halo. but is it time i go buy a ps3 since they dropped in price?

I went to Wikipedia today, and I wrote down every Xbox 360 exclusive for 2008 and I wrote down "almost" every PS3 exclusive game and let me give you the numbers:
Currently for the Xbox 360 there are only 14 exclusive games coming out for the Xbox 360 next year.
For the PS3, there are 42 excluisve games coming out in 2008 and a few of the games on the list are announced to be coming out in 2009. Also if you go to Wikipedia and search "PS3 games" and go to the bottom of the page , the PS3 has way more games in development. Go with the PS3 for sure because believe me man, the games are coming and the PS3 will dominate 2008, and you will want to have a PS3 to experience the revolution!

I own a PS3, I currently only own one game which is MotorStorm, which I must tell you it's a great game the graphics are awesome. The price cut is very valuable I guess you dont have a PS2 or PSone, well then that's great because the 40GB is perfect, although it has less features it is still a great console to purchase since it has a blu-ray player which in my opinion has a better quality in audio and video than HD-DVD, but that's just me. Blu-ray has lots of companies on their side most popular would be 20th Century Fox and Disney. I admit it games aren't the PS3's strong side, since they lose a lot of exclusives and end up kindda crappy when they are multiplattform. Well I hope you can make up your mind.
And yes, if you aren't too anxious about buying the PS3 don't rush it by next year you'll see a 25 - 50 dollar price cut, and maybe even with even cooler feautures.

I am thinking about getting a PS3, but I am going to wait for the price to come down some more and buy some games at the same time, but it might be a good few months before I actually by myself a PS3 for a good reasonable price.

its your choice, but..a ps3 is a waist of money in alot of peoples opinions...it has an overheating problem if you play it to long...with no fixes in sight...the games oin it are terrible...and will be for a long time.until Final fantasy and metal gear solid come out..and after that the games..that come out will suck..but on the 360..you still have..halo wars,mobile ops,battlefield bad company..whice is much better on the 360....and many more...frontlines...to human....army of two...grand theft auto...so make your own choice..which games do you like better..

Hey man ps3 still are a bit of money but when it gets less popular buy it cause the price goes down that's the wisest move but buy it before there isn't any left buy it when its like 100d

i think it is, im honestly thinking about it too, but i have a 360 too, but now the price is down, i probly will. its basically a half price blu-ray player, that also plays amazing games... so thats a yes. im ready to play some heavenly sword and ratchet and clank.
