Check your nutrition, stress levels and even if someone of your family have had this similar problem, but the best and first thing to do is to go to the Doctor to ask a professional. Health can not be in second place and there's no excuse of no time, any changes in your normal health should be take care as soon as possible in order to make easier for you to deal with whatever is wrong, perhaps is stress, then you will need to deal with and that's it, not so bad, but better to know.

I don't know if something is wrong but you might want to talk to a docter. If you are worried or under alot of stress you that is probably a reason. One time I was really worried about something in school and my period was like 20 days late.
The first answer is right you should go see a Gyno.

I know alot of people that this has happened to and i heard it has to do with sex because they(doctors) say if you are having sex then it changes your period and sometimes you even miss it for months at a time.

My mom only got her period every 3rd month and that was normal for her. Not every woman's body is on a monthly cycle. If you're really worried go see your doc and they can run some tests. But most likely you're like my mom and just have an odd cycle.

Could be normal--i mised 6 months total during one year (stress). Could be fibroids. Could be something else. Best bet is to schedule an annual physical and have them check it out.

Women doing extremely strenuous stuff (like Olympic training, track running, etc.) tend to miss periods, and women severely overweight have their periods just stop on them, quite often.

The term you want to google is Amenorrhea. You can learn about possible causes that way. It could be anything. If you are very low weight, for example. Or exercise a lot. Or a hormonal imbalance.

Only way to find out for sure is to go to the doc. Good luck!

Considering it happened before, it might be a false alarm. However, i will still go to your doctor for more information.

It also depends on your age because the younger you are the more irregular your periods are.

Your best bet is to go see the doctor just to rule out any illnesses. Maybe stress is making your period irregular or maybe your birth control. Go see the doctor.

I think that your period is just irregular. I would go in and see your doctor. Then you can get pills to regulate your period. I don't think you are pregnant if the tests say you aren't.
