Right, that way it can never happen and then the Israelis and Arabs can go back to killing each other. Brilliant idea.

No, it would not be a good idea.
Largely for two reasons.
1. Democracy works only when the public / citizenry is properly educated and informed. This predicate does not exist in large parts of the middle east - countries such as Afghanistan or Sudan enjoy literacy rates below 40% let alone contain populations which could be considered anything approaching well informed. You would not have a referendum on the best interests of the Palestinians or Israelis or Syrians but rather you would have a mob "bum-rush" opinion regarding the prevailing opinion "on the street" as they say.
2. It is unlikely that unless there is serious change on the part of the Israeli political tone, and a general marginalization or elimination of racist/extremist elements from both Palestinian and Israeli political discourse, I am not hopeful for a peaceful settlement.
Since these impassioned elements tend to dominate the discussions both internally and to large extents externally in both Palestine and Israel, it will not be until the respective populations enforce a degree of civility and moderation that peace will be achieved. Largely the recent history of in the middle east, seems nothing but extremism and violence.

What a fruitcake notion. Do you honestly believe anything the the "Arab world" would agree to is peace with Israel? The Arab dictators and the voice of Islam are out to destroy Israel. To even attempt something would show ignorance of Arab intent, particularly since Arab nations are not democracies anyway.

It's not a question of democracy, it's a question of the blind hatred Muslims are taught from birth to feel for Israel. And would they let women vote, or just men? And what if the woman didn't have a male relative around to escort her to the voting place? And if it were too far to walk and she actually had the gall to drive herself there? Would she be whipped before or after voting? The logistics would be a nightmare.

What makes you think that any arab nation truly desires peace with Israel? Iran publicly admits that it wants to wipe Israel off the face of the earth.
Other nations Arab nations may not publicly admit that, but I can assure you they're supportive of the idea. Arabs may not agree on too many issues, but the one thing they can agree on with ease is their hatred for Israel and it's ally the US.

By the Arab world do you mean Saudis, Kuwaitis, Iraqis, Lebanese, Syrians, Yemenis, Jordanians, Emiratis, Egyptians, and others voting on an issue concerning Israelis and Palestinians? That's completely unacceptable. The only people who have any business voting on a referendum on a peace agreement are the Israelis and the Palestinians.

It's not a matter for Arab world alone, but the sake of human kinds. It's better to stop Israel to continuously invade Arab land. Israel peoples are people who were ungrateful to God, Allah as well as to other races except they themselves. This is because they believe they are the chosen people by God.
Stopping Israeli means stopping the work of Devils on this God Planet

There is no way that would result in anything meaningful. Israel is too hated by the Arab countries to have any success in the vote you are asking them to submit.
Besides, the talks are not between Israel and the Arab world, its between Israel and the "Palestinians"!!!

why should other countries decide on what to do in one region. Just because they share a border with the territories does not make them entitled to a choice about it. That's like Mexico trying to tell the U.S. what to do about it's immigration problems. Ohh wait, that's what they're TRYING to do.
