I've had irregular periods for the past 3 years, since I first started college. This is also the amount of time i've been sexually active. I know I havent been exercising enough and my diet consists of dorm food, so I've gained quite a lot. I'm also really stressed out with school and being in a long distance relationship.

Could it be all these factors are contributing to my late periods, especially since before college I was regular?

Also, is it difficult to get pregnant with irregular periods?? please help!

I had irregular ones for years. I ended up getting pregnant quite a few times. I had many miscarries, or I would have a house full of children.

Don't think that because you are irregular that you can not get pregnant. One time when I was pregnant, I did not know until I was in my 5th month!!!

Be careful and use protection from both pregnancy and stds, particularly HIV, and herpes because they are not curable.

A doctor can give you birth control pills that will allow you only to have several periods a year, and will prevent pregnancy! It is best you get checked, just to be sure that there are no underlining problems that are causing your irregular periods. I was under a doctor's care, and trying to have a child, so I had constant medical attention.

all those things are contributing to irregular periods. Talk to a doc about it...it is very unhealthy to miss periods so often.
I've always missed my periods, (every other month or so) and I was told to call doc. when I missed them. I was eventually put on birth control to make me regular.
yes, it's harder to get pregnant when irregular, but not impossible, remember that if u don't want to get pregnant.

Go to the doctor. You should be having them every month.
