I've lived in NYC over a year now and it's a total ****-hole. I don't want either. New Yorkers are a citizenery themselves, utterly ignorant of anything outside New York (I'm talking city here, not the rest of the State).
It's just immigrant heaven here, illegals too - I wonder if this is America at all seeing that the people here are just trying to make big bucks and don't give a crap about America at all.
I work with people whose parents are immigrants and they were born here so they have citizenship - all of them have said if their parent's home country went to War with America they would fight with them, against America!
Anyone who does high office here is out for the game, the glam. They do not represent the other States at all!
Ron Paul 2008!

LOL!!! large remark about the "chief" of Iran. Did you take heed to any of his diatribes -- both at Columbia U. or on the UN? the guy is a pathological liar and megalomaniacal looney-tunes fruitcake who will, given the prospect, plunge the international right into a nuclear holocaust. His hypocrisy is common without limitations. staggering.

Teddy Roosevelt came from New York--remember him? One of the GREAT ones. Of course you forgot. BTW, what state are you from, and how many Presidents did that state produce? I am from Ohio and we sent EIGHT to the White House.

Why should it matter what state the candidate is from? The issues are the only thing that matter. We have other presidents from other states that are not that great. I would focus on the issues you like and vote on them/ the people who represent them.

New York City bashing. It's so cute. It's so over.
The thing I'd think about with Giuiliani is what he showed us as Mayor of New York before 9/11 -- everyone who disagreed with him, he dismissed as stupid or evil or both. I did not want him as a senator when he was running in 1999 because he does not play well with others, and compromise is the only way to get things done. This has nothing to do with where he comes from, it's who he is.

It is not important what state they are from. It IS IMPORTANT that a candidate is qualified.

Republicans wanted a former NY Mayor to be the President while the Democrats wanted to have a New York Senator to be President.
VOTE for your choice as US President on my 360 degrees blog and know whether a New Yorker will likely win.
