Since my parents always thought of Georgia on my mind as their theme song I had thought it mine for a time. Once I became an adult, and especially after moving to California 10 years ago, I'd have to say that I'm California Dreaming. It's much nicer to have a place to escape to, even if it's only mental, rather than having sad memories of lost love, isn't it?!?

As for thinking about a place I haven't been to either one of them but I would choose California since we've got relatives there and hope to visit them someday.
As for the songs, I like both very much, heard them while growing up and Ray is just magical but certainly California dreaming played much more often here so it stuck more...I specially like it with Johnny Rivers...

Well Since I am A GEORGIA Girl Then I have GEORGIA on my mind. I love my state I love the south. I just hate all the racists, Hypocrites, and womanizers. Other than that I love it here.
