I will be praying for you and the entire family Troy! I would like to share the following scripture with you to encourage you: Psalm 9:9-10 - "The Lord also will be a refuge for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble. And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee: for thou, Lord, hast not forsaken them that seek thee." God bless you!!!

Your friend in Christ,
Virginia

Troy,
I can relate to your problem, as I have known some that have gone through something like you are. I don't know if God will grant freedom, as we are accountable for our actions, and to obey man's laws when they don't violate God's. But if you have truly accepted Jesus as Lord, I have no doubt that the Lord will use you in some way to help fulfill His purpose. So keep praying and have faith. As a saved Christian your prayer is as good as anyone's is. So you be praying that God use you, and that your girl friend will be saved, be used of God, a place to live, and for the baby, too. As more pray, there is more power, especially in agreement. I will pray God will use you and your girl friend, for the baby, for a place to live, and for you to have favor.

Amazing!!!

So, you spend your entire life robbing and stealing from others because you are to dam lazy to work yourself and become a productive human being. Then, you impregnate some hapless woman who now will have to bear the burden of supporting that child while you go to the slammer for life.

Now, all of a sudden, you're caught and you've found Jesus?

I think not.

You are getting what you deserve....and don't worry about "your unborn"....you would have been no good to him/her anyway. No child deserves a thug as a father. Perhaps with you locked away for a long, long time, the kid might stand a chance to make a good life for himself......

Don't blame shoplifting on drugs and mental problems. That's just you doing something stupid that you KNOW is wrong. And no amount of praying is going to change that. If you want to shape up then you have to do it yourself. Don't expect some higher power to shine a light upon you and instantly change you. People have to work out their own problems. And even if I did believe in God, I wouldn't expect him to do everything for me. Own up to your mistakes, and a cheesy but incredible line - Be the miracle!

Wow. I don't know of any court that can impose life based on shoplifting. There must be something you aren't telling us. It's either grand theft or assault is involved or both.
