You can still be growing into your early 20's but growth slows down a lot after puberty. As you are 13 now you may not grow much taller but you will still be growing.
As for your weight, the best way to take care of that is to eat a healthy diet and get involved in a sport you enjoy. Don't worry too much about what the scale tells you right now, just concentrate on a healthy lifestyle.

Girls keep growing until about 18 years old but you won't know how tall you will become until after the growth process is over.

What your mother told you is a way for her to say that she thinks you should stop worrying about your weight. Are you too concerned about it?

If you are overweight there is nothing wrong with trying to lose an appropriate amount of weight as long as you continue to eat a healthy and varied diet. I can't tell if you have a valid concern about your weight because I can't see you.

Your school should have a school nurse. He/she should be able to tell you if there is a concern about your weight or not.

Genetics play a huge part in your growth. Most women continue to grow into their early 20s. The human brain doesn't even finish growing until the 20s. :)

you can grow till your mid 20's (i grew at least an inch since i was 20) if your body gets all the nutrients it needs.
your mom is right - you can worry about your weight later on in life - for now give your body all it needs and dont deprive it.
