Here is a question and i really dont get it
it might be little kid-ish but forget that

The product of 3 natural numbers is 24. How many different sets of numbers have this property if the order of the number does not matter? (a number can be used more than once within the set of three numbers)

Does that mean i come up with as many ways to come up with 24?

Like here is what i think it mean
8+8+8=24
am i thinking correctly?

The problem is asking for a 'product' (multiplication), not a sum (addition). For example, 2x3x4 = 24. Another example would be, 1x3x8 = 24.

Best wishes.

product means the multiplication of numbers. here you have to find the number of ways in which you can obtain 24.

E.g 2*2*6 or 1*2*12
The order of the number does not matter means that, for example 6 can come before 5 just like 4 can come after 8.
Hope you understand..now go and find out!!
