2004. First off, Tucker Chapman illegally recorded a PRIVATE conversation between himself and Dog and then went behind his families back and sold the tape to the National Enquire for $15,000. Selling his family out for only 15 grand, what a shame. And yes, it's bad that Dog uses the N word and stuff like that, but come on, he's a bounty hunter, he works on the street and comes from a tough background. He has apologized profusely for this, gone on Larry King, etc. I mean Chris Rock, the comedian used the N word all the time, and no one cancels him, his show, Everbody Hates Chris. And look at all the rappers who use the word too, I can go on all night about this. This is so childish. We have seen this with Don Imus. He was thrown off the air for saying "nappy headed ho's" and you know what? He threatened to sue CBS for 50 million and probably would've won. He is going back on the air next week. Just put Dog back on. If not on A&E, then another network should pick him up.

Does anyone have any updates regarding this? His show has been off the air for like one month now. They don't even show re-runs. It's basically finished. What a crushing blow to the Chapman family and Da Kine Bail Bonds.

It`s all up to the advertisers. If they will accept Dog being back on then that`s what will happen. His show was the highest rated on A&E I`m sure it will be picked up by another station.

I've seen a few articles alluding to the fact that A&E immediately pulled the plug on the show.

Maybe in time if the scandal wears off (as they usually do) they'll bring it back, but as of right now I haven't heard anything about new episodes or anything else.

The way that political correctness is nowadays, no one's gonna touch him with a 10 foot pole.
