Black on black crime ..American or just a black issue?

Question

A country divided can NOT stand. Right?

How many of you have done something to promote diversity or accept someone of another race in your little group of friends?..help some little black kids learn how to read..(stuff like that)..teach a spanish women about traffic rules (another example)

What I have done: have friends of different races, tell off my racist boss yesturday, go to the club with some black guys, helped a black homeless man get a job.

Oprah Winfrey closed down her personally funded school for inner city black kids in Chicago and re-opened one in Johannesburg (s. Africa). the reason she gave was these kids just don't care and don't want to help themselves, it's a lost cause in America. Their education based on how to survive on the streets without education or a job.

I suppose if someone wanted my help I would do my best for them regardless of race, but if thier not asking I could give a damn.

This question shows the real kind of red neck that you are, you can be trying to hel a homeless dude get a job, but you will also label him as a "Black homeless guy" you might have African Americans (not politically correct to call them black) friends and you will hang out with them, but you will always see the color of their skin, by doing this you are NOT promoting diversity, you are still segregating and still being the red neck your KKK grand daddy should be proud of, to begin you should not see the color of the skin of your friend, let them be white, purple, green, yellow, brown, just ACCEPT and LOVE them for who they are, STOP LABELING people, and please, quit smoking that cheap marihuana, diversity is something that will never happen in the US, just because the majority of the people think the same way you do.

By the way, I'm a brown, mexican, unemployed, homeless, illegal alien... are those enough labels?

whats your point? I am black and I help white homeless people all the time...I volunteer at a women's shelter that helps women who were beaten by their husbands 99% of them are white, I go to a predomoinatley white college so of course I have white friends....and little black kids are not the only ones who need help with reading I have helped white kids learn to read...so what? you did all this stuff for blacks and mexicans what do you want a hand clap...a standing ovation? Kids who cant read, mexicans who cant read traffic rules homeless people thats AMERICA"S problem because these are the kids who will take care of us in the future...that spanish women who cant read traffic signs could kill someone you know in a car accident the homeless people and drug attics are the ones who break into your home...It is our moral obligation to help those in need because they do affect us all in someway...we pay for women on welfare, we pay for the extra police needed to help protect our neighborhoods so no it is not just a black or a spanish issue it is america's issue.

American issue. You are talking about African Americans, right? So...they are Americans. Crime is an issue.

Why does it matter the ethnicity of the person I help? I am a teacher and help kids of all colors everyday, but I don't think of it as a "Latino issue" or a "black issue" ...

BTW do you seriously think you are fighting racism when you go clubbing with some black dudes and then brag about it on Yahoo Answers, dude? Jeez...

we are the minorities and had dark pasts many think of the rustic is against them and have 'no longer something to lose' mentality broken households violent advertising lifestyle who're predominately a similar race as us, suggestions that an excellent destiny is impossible in a white mans worldwide etc. Im black yet im none of those Ive seen previous all those obstacles some that are interior the suggestions and a few that are bodily. We would nicely be dominate gang crime (gun knife), yet crime it fairly is advantageous in criminal occupation tactics, robbing advertising drugs claiming turf homicide or homicide of a enemy till now yours or through fact of debts to instruct you recommend your be conscious etc confident its undesirable besides the undeniable fact that it hardly ever effects the non gangsters drug additcs etc. yet white human beings dominate in mindless outrageous non advantageous crime, pedophiles, spree killing, serial killing, terrorism, college shootings, hate crime prostitute slaying. I would so love to be able to tell you differently, but the "African American" guys in my town are no different than the tribes of Africa have been for the past 6000 years.
The black "African American" guys are the ones shooting each other. Very very few white guys are going up and doing any shooting, very very few Mexican gangs are having issues with the "African-American" guys. I have been witnessing for years that it's the "African-American" gangs shooting at the other "African-American" gangs.
It's all tribal - just different tribes killing each other as usual and as they have been doing for the past 6000 years. (If I didn't know better, I'd say it was a bit genetic, but who am I to make such a broad assumption?)
As for promoting diversity - hey, I'm from L.A. Everyone is different where I come from. The nurses at the clinic were "African_American", my 3rd grade teacher was Japanese, my latest good friend is Mexican, I used to go to church with Samoans, I ain't the person to start being a bigot when the Samoans could pick me up and throw me across a room if they so chose...

I think you are the one with an issue. No matter what color or ethnicity an American is when it comes to crime it is an American issue.

Wow, I don't know you as a person, but just the way you ask this question makes you seem really really racist. I have friends of all races, I don't consider it as me helping them, I consider it a relationship where we all help each other.
