No it can't be transmitted, but it can be brought on by sexual activity and improper hygeine following the activity. Also, some people are just more susceptible to bladder infections. I'd speak with your doctor about it.

Yes, it can be. I asked that question at an STD clinic because a partner I had was also having sex with someone I knew who HAD a bladder infection. It's more likely to transfer if the guy isn't circumcised (more places for the stuff to hide).

You can develop a bladder infection on your own though, that's how most of us get one.

Yes, a UTI- Urinary tract Infection- [bladder infection]- can be transmitted by way of sexual contact.
The urethra, the opening leading to the urinary bladder, is very close to the vaginal area.
So sexual contact can allow a bacteria to invade the urinary tract.
Careful washing is necessary after sexual contact.
And wiping front to back is the only way to prevent transferring any bacteria.
This is taught in basic health information.
Women should ALWAYS wipe front to back!

Remember that the bacteria that causes the infection are always in your body and that intercourse can push them further into your body. Bladder infections are not ST D's.
The most common cause of UTI are bacteria from the bowel that live on the skin near the rectum or in the vagina which can spread and enter the urinary tract through the urethra.

No bladder infection are not sexually transmitted. You get them when bacteria multiplies in your bladder. The bacteria can come from something as simple as not wiping properly after you have a BM.

If a guy or girl has a UTI, then yeah, cuz the bacteria can be transferred. I'm not so sure about a bladder infection though, someone would probably have to pee on someone else.... ew.

They say if you don't urinate after sex...if he doesn't pull out....you can get a urinary infection....not sure if it's true. I don't think you can pass a bladder infection. You should see the doctor if you are worried...and if it burns when you urinate.
