I have a big problem... the guy I'm in love with is planning on marrying my cousin in a few months and they both want me to be in the wedding, the best maid in fact... I try to avoid both of them as it is because of my feelings for the groom. I love my cousin and I would never hurt her by comming between them. Besides, I know that he doesn't love me but even if he did, I still wouldn't do that to her. Should I just suck it up and be in the wedding to make them happy? I don't want to be selfish but at the same time I really really dont want to be forced to watch it. It's especially hard because she has told me that she wouldnt be marrying him if nor for his $. I don't know what 2 do. I'm planning on moving out of state next fall but I still don't want to be in the wedding but she doesn't have many friends so I kinda fee obligated.

I would definitely not go. Why subject yourself to that kind of torture? I think it's not right that they asked you to do this for them.. it seems a little in your face show offy on your cousin's part and a lot of like rubbing salt in the wound on his part. If I were you, I would plan some fab trip for that exact same week and say you just can't make it. Even if you don't really go anywhere... at least you won't have to watch it all happen.

hi Lola. specifically situations the fact hurts, yet to be truthful i do no longer think of he will rejoice with you telling him approximately your feeling. You had 3 years to coach him how a lot you seen him or maybe to the factor of beginning a relationship, yet you enable that bypass. once you had a boyfriend, he got here around and it variety of feels that it grow to be undesirable timing on behalf of the two one in all you. it's time to close the financial disaster on your e book, turn the web site and start up writing a clean financial disaster, positioned you relationship with this individual as a superb reminiscence, as that's what that is going to continually be. the same thing happened to me. I liked my cousins bf who she ended up marrying and I was the maid of honor, I had the biggest crush on the groom, but did it for my cousin. 4 years later I'm married and they are getting divorced!

you should really get over your feelings for him. You know he doesn't love you and he is marrying your cousin, so you should really be working on moving on for yourself. Be in the wedding and then move on with your life and find someone who loves you back! good luck!

Not many people would agree with me but I honestly feel that you should be honest and tell your cousin the truth, and say that because you love her, you wouldn't feel right being MOH having such feelings towards the groom.
