I'm starting to think Matt might just be the best actor of his generation. Recently, I've seen Bourne Ultimatum, The Good Shepherd, and The Departed. The man can do it all!
On the other hand, Leo is something else too. Also in The Departed, Blood Diamond, The Aviator, Catch Me If You Can. He, too, can do it all.

Thanks R-Avatar. You're right to bring up Johnny Depp. I've seen almost all his movies and the man is remarkable.

They both are two of the greatest actors in their generation, but I am more of a Damon fan. They both are great and can do it all, but i have always liked Damon more. Someone whom i think deserves mentioning with these two is Johnny Depp. The guy can do it all and is possibly the best actor in the biz today.

Matt Damon was good in the Departed and Brothers Grimm. Otherwise I can't sit through his movies. Leo DiCaprio is a great actor and I haven't seen anything of his that was bad acting on his part or a boring storyline.

Leo, he's the a lot greater desirable actor in spite of the undeniable fact that, damon frequently has greater desirable roles in my view. in case you're no longer partial to the mostly sissy roles DiCaprio is in, watch the Departed. he's recommendations-blowing in that action picture, and IMO for sure outdoes Matt Damon.

I prefer Matt Damon but I have to give the acting edge to Leo. I swear when I watched "What's Eating Gilbert Grape" I said "Wow, that retarded boy is doing a great job.". I had no idea he wasn't.

Leo does some brilliant work but Damon is just too good . . . he's got script writing talent too . . . so Matt might has a slight edge over Leo

Sorry, I've just never understood why Leo gets such attention. I don't see it. Someone who looks twelve just can't pull off a man's role. I think it's the Sinjia phenomenon. Little girls are his fan base. Damon all the way.
