i want to give you an example...
i asked what the last two states that were admittited into the u.s.
and people were like, "i cant belive you dont know this" and "your so dumb" and then stuff like, "this is so sad"
i mean what the hell!!

Because! People have been mean to them so they automatically do the same thing to another person! It's a chain reaction! It will never stop! Oh no!
But just ignore them. Karma will get them some day.

To some its a way of life.To some they just dont care about anything or anybody.To some they just dont know any better.Some people just dont get it.To be mean is just plane stupid.All the best.

Take any kind of school for instance. You will usually find the bully who is the cool one that yells at other people to make himself feel better.
Try yelling at a rock sometime, it may help you feel better...

because they want to feel better about themselves by making someone feel bad. I'm sure your question wasn't stupid. But if you don't ask you will never know. I learn something new ever single day!

They want to feel like they are good at something, or they have nothing better to do, or they take joy in hurting people.
Most (NOT ALL) people who are mean are usually people who are being insulted themselves.
