Remember, you're likely to change your mind as you do rotations and actually get out there and see the work of each. One will speak to you and you'll know it's your field.

Sergio, while I do not agree with you most of the time on immigration issues, you have an awful lot of passion. You would make a wonderful doctor.

My daughter-in-law is in her third year of residency for anesthesiology. She will then do another year, I believe, and be a pediatric anesthesiologist. Not a heck of a lot of those. She went from pediatrics to cardiology, and then anesthesiology.

go to google and search for it, you will come across a list that has all the different kinds of doctors, but you have to decide first what kind of patients you want to work with. females, males, babies, old people. you have to have all this in mind before you choose.
