Is it better to use the buttons on your collar, not use the buttons and tuck in the edges of the collar under the sweater, or let the collar hang out of the sweater completely.
Any help is appreciated.

The collar has to remain buttoned if it has buttons, allowing the top of the collar to rise slightly above the sweater neckline.

yeah collar out looks best and make sure the bottom of the button down peeks out! if you don't think it looks good to have the collar stick out, try tucking it in.... but its what looks good on you

collar over the sweater for that preppy-ish look.
