I'm born and raised in Boston and moved to the south for a period of time....every southerner that I talked to would ask, Boston or New York? So I assume they are more or less the same. But I like the Boston accent

i saw an "adult" movie one time where the chick had a really strong boston accent. it got so annoying i had to turn the sound off. if i'd heard "oooh push HAH-duh HAH-duh" one more time...
so i'm going to say a new york accent. at least they can pronounce the letter "r."
