Lately, I've seen these late night infomercials showing giggly women in short skirts discussing how "size really does matter". Never in all my life have I ever heard women complaining they didn't like a man because he was too small but I have heard women say they didn't like a man because he was TOO big! Most women just want to be treated respectibly by a man. I worry that some men will think what the ad is saying is true and feel bad about themselves if they're not well endowed. Those ads are bunk! Just a way to sell something to men that they don't need.

Yes, many believe it, more because of having to compare themselves in the locker room than anything else! THat's what I htink it comes from, because we don't put so much pressure on men. Women, for the most part, are socialized to not purposely hurt a guy's feelings! We don't go around telling men these things- MEN do.
So, yes, these ads are the first time I've ever seen a woman actually say that, in a forum wherein men can hear.
And while many women do not like less than five inches, seriously, cannot get as good stimulation, especially after childbirht and with tipped uteri, well, you can deal, but PAIN is horrible and is the only thing about which ALL women seem to agree.
PS, by saying "Not well endowed", you don't even realize it, but that language also puts down the smaller man.
Hey, that's the phrase, that's how language can teach us to think things we don't even want to think!

Are you sure? That is not the impression I get!

Sorry, just kidding. No, I don't think that size matters to most women. I have known a few that do like larger, but mostly it is the relationship that matters.

Do you think she means the guy's size or the guy's "other thing" size?

For many women, the the size of "something else" is more important than the guy's size!
