I was watching a show on abc.com and suddenly a download titled "log" popped up in my download file. A simple text file, 1 byte. And then a log-1 also downloaded.

Should I be worried? I have an Apple.

What should I do?

Second you said apple i can guarantee you no viruses/ trojans or malware can enter a recently made mac ( 5 years). There has not been a reported virus in 8 years. I have a macbook, myself. Macs just dont work like that.

It's unlikely that it can run on a mac if it is a virus. More then likely it is a coding mistake, and was meant for their server or a cookie. You may want to report it to abc.com just to be sure, never hurts to be paranoid.
