All my other children are loving and gentle, but there is this one that is very nasty and sets out to hurt people as much as possible, is always the 'victim" and never takes responibility for her own part in things.

yes, My daughter hates my guts and has no reason to with exception to her grandfather's and her mother's influence upon her because I've done nothing but say nice things about all of them,.......though she sez I have done nothing but say nasty things about them, ( I cant figure how?).....when in fact I've gone out of my way to say nothing she can hear directly or indirectly hear me say about the honest to God real truth which is indeed evil and full of bile and poison...........even despite this fact, I still love her mother and I love her grandfather "my adopted father" though I do not like either one of them or agree with anything they stand for but I would never in any fashion allow her to hear me say anything bad about any member of my family because it simply isnt right for a parent to speak ill of the other spouse whether or not they have done soemthing wrong or bad cuz everyone makes mistakes and God knows I've made my share, your share and the share of a small nation..Buy I'd stand in front of a train for her even if it was a second after she said she hates me.........by the way lizzie, go read your e-mail. plz, something special for you there.

i'm the difficult adult child...
my children are simply human and can at times be difficult and other times be ok...i try to not make it my business, they are adults now and can decide for themselves and learn for themselves...i really dislike when my parents try to get into my business or advise me...it's a (remember the old asprin commercial?) "mother, PLEASE...i'd rather do it myself!!" momment

Might just be an understatement in your "case". Mine are most precious. Always have been, always will be. "Difficult" is a matter of POV in my books only.
