Gold eyeshadows are best for blue eyes, and I'll tell you why... Every color on the color wheel has an opposite. Yellow is opposite blue and so it will make blue eyes stand out the most.

For everyday makeup I suggest a gold-toned shadow over the lid and a darker bronze color in the crease. Use a brush to blend the crease shadow using upward strokes. If you're feeling fun, add some bright blue to the outside corners of your eyes. Be careful with blue shadow because it gets real trashy real fast.

Try some blue-tinted mascara, it helps to make blue eyes pop.

Don't use black eyeliner, it seriously takes away from the blue. It tends to look harsh on most people and it will wash out your skin big time if you are light-skinned. Try navy, grey, and khaki. Your best bet would be a brown or bronze eyeliner.

I also have Blue eyes...and they tend to look great with a lot of colors! I ususally wear a shade of brown/taupe. My favorite color is by Mabelline (Silken Taupe)! Trust me, it's work looking for. I have uesed it for years...I now use higher end make-up, but still use this paticular 'drug store' eyeshadow because the color is so great!

I find earthy tones such as "browns, taupes etc.... " work REALLY well for blue eyes. ***You have to watch your skin tone though as you dont want to look washed out ~ the point is to make your eyes POP !!! Also, dont forget to apply the liner and mascara in dark brown or a soft black ~ after the shadow. Perfect to finish the look... Have fun; hope this helps. :) :) :)
