This piece of gasket will not cause any problems.
The oil pick up screen will stop any big pieces and the material is soft enough to not damage any bearings.
While I would rather not have this in the engine, don't worry as it won't hurt anything.

The piece should be in the oil pan...Best bet would be is to change the oil and hopefully, it will come out when you do it...the correct way would be to drop the pan and get the piece out but it's a lot of work..Most likely, the piece of the gasket which I am assuming is paper, will not do any harm...

Dont worry, it will not do any harm, If you cant see it in the hole, it will end up in the oil pan and should come out when the oil is changed, If you can see it, try to remove it with a pair of needle nose pliars.

it will wind up in the oil pan and wont hurt anything ,if the distributor is still out and you can see it you may get it out with a long pair of needle nose pliers,i really wouldn't worry too much about it though,it will just settle in the oil pan, good luck.

Don't lose sleep over it. You will never see it again. Besides that , not allot you can do about it unless you want to disassemble your oil pan
