What does UCSD major in? like meanig everything. and what are the requirements to get accepted? i really need to know. i hope to major in computer engineering or computer programming or computer designing :P. please and thank you!

You can major in anything there including your choices for a computer career. You need a 3.5 GPA and an SAT score of at least 1500.

Universities don't major in things; the students major in things. UCSD tends to be strongest in science and technology, but they offer a wide range of majors. It is one of the most competitive UCs, and very difficult to get into. According to the College Board, almost none of their students have GPAs under 3.5, and pretty much all were within the top 10% of their graduating classes in high school.

They do have a good and competitive computer engineering program. You also might want to look int UCI or the Cal Poly's
