is there a way to report/ an incompetent/ un-qualified immigration lawyer?

I almost used a lawyer that gave me completely wrong info and if I listend to him, I would have had been in deep trouble. Is there a way to make sure frauds like this guy don't practice laws that they don't have a clue about?

Report him to his States Bar Asociation.

if there are documentes acceptable to a court of law you may sue the lawyer.
