So, after tonight's games, the ACC is now undefeated in all nine of the ACC - Big Ten challenges that have occurred. I know that these two teams have the best historical winning percentages in the NCAA tournament (ACC's is .642; Big Ten's is .616), but the one-sidedness of this challenge makes me wonder if there is a better conference to match up with the ACC. So, what does everyone else think?

The Big East would offer a better challenge, and the two did play a challenge in the late 1980's/early 1990's, but the Big East pulled out.

The two conferences may have the top winning percentages in the NCAA tournament, but not all teams make the tournament, and the ACC is a much deeper conference than the Big Ten. So far, throughout the history of the Challenge, only Michigan State has a winning record from the Big Ten. Other teams in the Big Ten have been more up-and-down during that stretch, and it shows in their records in the challenge (Illinois is 3-6, as is Wisconsin; Indiana is 3-4).

Maybe, but this ACC/Big 10 challenge draws a lot of viewers and it is made for TV event. Besides, in the 8 previous yrs the Big 10 has sent more teams to the NCAA's and has had more teams in the final 4. So I guess, go figure

I don't know how far in advance they make the schedules. It'd be best if they could match up the best teams like Michigan State vs UNC/ Indiana vs. Duke, and keep the worst teams like Michigan vs. Virginia Tech together. ACC usually dominates, but oh well, the Spartans took care of business. Go Green!

I dont think there is a better confrence, to tell you the truth. The SEC has Florida and Kentucky, which are decent teams, but UK is very overrated.

I want to see North Carolina or Duke play Michigan State or Indiana, our two best teams. This is a down year for Ohio State and Wisconsin B-Ball after how good they were last year.
