I do change the water alot, and the filters alot too, i have to add water alot also, it does kinda look like spots on this fish like copper stated, i think i will look into that first, then if thats not it i'll look into the water, but only taht one fish is having a problem, non of the others are, like i said, i have two female gouramis, and a goldfish, (dont comment about it being bad for the goldfish to be in there, its doing fine too, i have plenty of oxygen going into it, also a algea eater, and two cory catfish ina 5 gallon tank.

Is she swimming fast and rubbing part of her body against objects or the gravel? That would indicate the possibility of a parasite. You might be able to treat this with salt (without iodine preferred), or use a general antiparasitic like Clout.

Another potential cause is temperature, and although at 80o they should be fine. Use a thermometer to check if that IS the temperature - if the water temperature is too high, she may be trying to escape because she's uncomfortable (although this should affect both fish).

ADDITION: I see from your added info that temperature probably isn't the problem. I'm not so certain that you may not have a chemical problem - the conditioners don't actually "remove" the ammonia, nitrite, and nitrate from the water as they claim - it changes the form of the chemical. And there's some evidence that the bacteria aren't able to use the converted forms as well as the original (toxic) forms. These also typically still allow the ammonia, nitrite and nitrate to show up on water tests, so you never know the amount in a toxic state or in a "safe" state. And you still need to do the water changes on a regular basis to remove the "neutralized" versions (about 25% of the tank volume is suggested).

I don't mean to criticize your maintenance (you may be doing the changes as needed), I was just wanting to point out what may be a possible cause for the gourami problem.

You might want to take a close look at your goruami's body and fins with a bright flashlight to see if you can detect a gold-rust powdery coating (will look white under typical light). This is a parasite called velvet which looks like a fine dusting of powder. In early stages, it shows up as distinct white spots, but the spots are smaller than ich. The jumping usually indicates that the fish is uncomfortable with the water parameters. And that could mean, pollution(Ammonia, Nitrate, etc) or even problem with pH. You wouldn't be able to really detect this problem by looking at the water because as you mention the water would be clear.

Deterioration of the water condition occurs slowly and some fishes are more prone to it for whatever reasons. So they would show some reaction to the changes first. So this might be an early indication of inpending problems.

How long do you have the fish for? As for now, I would recommend you do a 50% water and monitor all the fishes for any strange behaviour. If possible get some test kits to measure the parameters of the water. (Ammonia, Nitrate, pH and temp ).

~~~~~~~~~~
Try to get one of those thermometer that are in the tankwater, those are more accurate as it take temp of the water instead of the glass of the tank.
Anyway, a simple 50% water change should buy you some time. For you to observe and find the require test kits.
BTW after the water change, do not add more chemicals into the water. Keep it chemical clear and do water change again if symptoms persist. The only chemical that you should introduce to the water is de-chlorinator.
~~~~~~~~~~

If you clean your filter alot, you might want to test for Ammonia just incase, the bacteria are not established in enough numbers to keep ammonia at zero.

The Western international perspectives introversion, self administration and being reserved as this super difficulty that they could say some thing approximately and alter. As an introvert who says little or no mutually as interior the enterprise of folk i don't comprehend ok, that's difficult to handle each and every of the grievance and questions. they could say issues like "end being so shy" "Why are you so quiet?" etc, whilst all we'd like is to be left on my own. yet it incredibly is lots too confusing for them to do, they experience that's their place to make us like them. you may not do lots, enormously at school. In college it gets extra handy because of the fact maximum folk do not comprehend one yet another and are not paying lots of money to talk at school, so as that they depart you on my own. yet for all of us like us, severe college replace into purely a painful journey.
