I loved every month the first year with both my boys but I really love 1 to 2 because they are just the cutest little people. I say people because they really start to grow their own shell and shine. I love seeing them get all crazy over something or have a favorite show or song. It is just great. I always laugh because as they grow I catch myself saying awww this is my favorite age over and over. So really I just think everyday is my favorite day. One of the best things about kids is that it really never gets old- it is always great - it is always just heaven!

Our daughter was super fussy due to reflux her first 4 months. I can't say I necessarily miss those days because we were so frustrated (to tears most times) because we couldn't figure out how to lessen her discomfort. Then at around 4 1/2 months she suddenly outgrew it and has been *the* happiest baby we could ever imagine!! So really, from 4 months on have been absolutely awesome. But I have to admit that 6 months up to now (9 months) have been my favorite. Her personality has come through so much. She claps and laughs, and is just delighted in most everything. I do find myself sad when she reaches new major milestones. It took a good week for me to get over her learning to crawl without feeling sad, lol!! But, now that I'm adjusted to it, we're having a blast once again! :)

My daughter is 9 months now and 6 months on have been great. She was an early crawler though and she walked at 7 1/2 months. So watching her play is so enjoyable. My most fav month was 7 months because she started to sleep through the night. :) I dont even remember the first 4 months i dont even think i slept lol. All i can say is ENJOY EVERY MINUTE! They grow so quickly. :( wasn't it the best site in the world hearing your child laugh for the first time. I cried i was so happy. :) Congrats on the baby. :)

I thought that seven months was really fun because that's when my little boy started to crawl. He was just delighted with himself and would laugh as he'd crawl across the room. It seemed like he was a happier baby when he was able to get around the way he wanted to. Also, at nine months we got into a really good day time nap routine. That's when he dropped his third nap, and his other two naps lengthened.

It seems like fussiness would come and go. As he got older he'd get cranky sometimes because of teething, or separation anxiety, or frustration with not being able to do what he wanted.

He just turned two, and he is so much fun. Every day I think, "This, today, is my favorite age."

I love my baby right now at four months. She is saying momma and dada (which said dada first of course), laughs all the time and talks all the time. She has started rolling over. I loved the first couple months, but the older she gets the more I see her personality and her development. I was lucky because she started sleeping though the night at about a month and a half to two months. *LOL* I guess I love all of them. But at just four months, I would have to say this one is the best so far.

Well lol, I am only at month 3 but I have loved all 3 months for their own reasons. I think the first year is just incredible because of all the milestones they get to. How did we ever live with out these little guys!?

he's doing countless an similar. he isn't any longer a large talker in any respect. He can say dada mama yet would not comprehend what it potential. He began walking per week in the past and now we basically cant look to provide up him. He hates it when we carry his bottle for him, he continues to be have subject matters with the sippy cup (desires to locate the right thanks to tip it up)

I loved when my twin boys were about 4-5 months old. They just started sitting by themselves and rolling over. They used to laugh and think mummy was their whole life.
Sadly they are 2yo now. I never know where they are for longer than 2 minutes. They run round climbing on anything in sight. It is so exhausting!!!

The first month(or two) because all they do is eat, sleep and poop. You can put them down somewhere and they are in the exact same spot when you come back! Not rolling, crawling or walking off somewhere. I love newborn innocence and behaviour, plus nothing in the world beats your babies first smile.

Believe it or not, the older they get the HARDER they get to look after! Newborns are easy as pie, toddlers and pre-schoolers are A LOT harder to 'tolerate', in a nice sense of course! And apparently it gets worse or so I've heard!

best of luck

That is a hard question because now i look back at the months they all are my favorite. If i had to narrow it down to the 6 month. They both started to become more aware and they smiled and looked back at you and show that they knew that is my mommy and that is my daddy. Personally you are going to look back and not see a bad month. You are going to miss every month after it is over. Good luck and enjoy the wonderful ride.
