A tad. Some chapstick (my lips hurt real bad. Napolean Dynamite.) They are chapped from the cold weather.

They never get chapped because I always wear Burt's Bees Lip Balm and when I go out, I always wear lipstick. Blistex is pretty good, but for chapped lips, I would recommend something called, Carmex. It comes in a little white jar with a yellow cap. You can find it at just about every drugstore. Why?Maybe because you're licking your lips too much, or the air is dry, or your significant other is kissing you too much? (wink)

Carmex does work pretty well if you use it all day long, however, it seems to mask it more than heal it (at least to me I've found that to be true). I live in the desert so they used to constantly drive me crazy! A holistic doctor actually gave me the best remedy ever! I use "Shea Butter Vaseline". Every night before I fall asleep I put it on heavy and in the morning my lips are soft and feel great. I haven't had a problem since I've been doing this...
** You can find therapeutic Vaseline flavors at Walgreen's drugstores. They actually have shea butter, lavender, and Vitamin E now. I love the smell and texture of the shea butter best ... but if you can't find these good old Vaseline works just as well I was told. I hope this helps!!
Peace to you ...

Mine are not at the moment. i have found that petroleum jelly works very well at fixing chapped lips. Put it on your lips and wait several minutes. The wet a washcloth with warm water and gently rub off the dry skin. Be sure to be gentle, or you might make your lips bleed. Once you have removed the dry skin, apply a new thin layer of petroleum jelly (Vaseline) to your lips. They will be soft and smooth. i apply the Vaseline every night before bed. Best wishes!!

Blistex is the only thing I've ever found that truly healed chapped lips. And, the new one they have is like a silky lip gloss. Doesn't last long, but does work.

Did you hear about the ageing spinster who went out on a freezing cold day, hoping it would bring a chap to her lips?

My lips are always chapped, and I use petroleum jelly (aka vaseline). It's the only thing I've found that really works, it's cheap, and lasts forever.
