No, but for a quick fix you can watch Krull, Dragonheart, Excalibur, and Dragon Slayer. They are all good movies in their own respect.

Peter Jackson's LOTR trilogy was definitely a great bunch of movies, I won't deny that.
But there are other movies that are very good and worth seeing many times over. Comparable in the genre? Mmmm.. maybe not.
Comparable in enjoyment in seeing the movie? Yeah... those I count among my favorites.. Fiddler on the Roof, Schindler's List, Forrest Gump, Shrek 2, The Sixth Sense, Paper Moon...
I guess it'll all be a matter of opinion, here.
