The movie is rated PG by the MPAA which means the group of parent felt it was fine for most children.
I have several employees who have seen the movie multiple times. In fact, one girl watch the movie 3 times in the first 2 days after getting the DVD. I think she's seen it a total of 10 times including 6-7 times at the theatre.

definite it nicely worth seeing the action picture. John Travolta is amazingly humorous and that i love Zac Efron better in this action picture than in severe college musical and the female who play the nature of Tracy Turnblad is magnificent she is amazingly amazing and proficient female. The action picture have an miraculous solid before each little thing i basically went to ensure it because Queen Latifah changed into contained in the action picture yet i changed into truly amaze with each of the skills contained in the action picture. The action picture changed into outstanding so i truly cautioned to you.

The remake you mean?
I enjoyed it a lot, but there are some pretty heavy themes regarding racial issues that will likely go over the heads of 9 year olds.

Only because of the two second scene of smoking i think...lol

Both versions are really good films.
The new musical version will be ok for 9 and up the john waters one though... not so much.

i love the movie. the old version with ricki lake is especially good. i would say the movie is suitable for 9 and up but there are some issues with racism if that concerns you

you mean age the only bad thing in that movie is if you hate black people. Everybody I know seems to like it, lets put it this way if you don't like the first 10 min. you wont like the rest
