Some people would say yes, but it's highly doubtful. No matter your age, sex is the highest form of intimacy, even if it's a random encounter. Now throw into the mix a prolonged encounter with the same partner and you're asking for a high probability that some form of attachment will occur. Even if it's not on your end, your partner's feelings might begin to surface after only a few encounters.

Be wary if you're only hoping for a "casual" relationship since, being we're all human beings with an emotional foundation no matter our gender, feelings will more likely than not begin to appear. :)

I think the trick of this question is the word... "continuous". Because it implies that you like someone enough to keep coming back. I think that someone can have a one night stand with a person... and not have feelings for them. I think that an ongoing fwb situation evolves into a definite emotional attachment whether one or both parties admits to it or not. Although the level of emotional feelings will probably vary between the partners... and as a woman, I have to say that I cannot do those things with another person without feeling anything.

How continuous? Is it like every weekend, every day, or once a month for a whole year? Just kidding... If you're having sex with a person on a regular basis, you probably like this guy, and if you like this guy and enjoy the time you spend with him, it's very likely you could fall in love, don't you think? But, yes, you can also have sex with someone and feel no emotional attachment whatsoever, even if the guy is very attractive sometimes you just don't "click"...maybe he's plain dumb, or doesn't have a sense of humor, or just lacks personality...

I had a 'friend with benefits' for well over a year while dating other girls and having miscelaneous flings. The 'friend' knew all about my escapades, I was young and simply enjoying myself and my sexuality.

I personally didn't feel any emotional attachment and when I was ready for a serious relationship, I ended it without any hesitation or attachment, we just continued the friendship and dropped the 'benefits' part.

Sex with her was really great too, looking back, I do miss her/sex with her on occasion.

It is possibly but usually one of the two people ends up catching feelings. It's more likely for a woman to become emotionally attached after a while then a man.

Firstly I think love is emotional once we love someone we gradually grow urge to have sex. So , it has relationship with emotion. In case if one is crazy about sex only its possible without catching any emotional feeling. For men having sex with concubines may be mentioned here.

Yes. The key for women is to sleep with guys who are physically attractive, but have nothing else going for them. Sleep with the hot guy who has the personality of a paper bag. OR the guy who might be out of your dating age range, or the guy who isn't as educated, or has like five kids. He has to be someone that you would NEVER seriously consider dating. Just make sure he's hot, do him, and move it on along.

Catching any feelings? Are we talking diseases? Yes, you can have sex without feelings, but much much better with them. So why would you want to continue to have sex without having any emotional attachments?

I think it is possible to do so. There are people who just like sex and if they find someone who can satisfy this desire for each other they would probably be able to continue to see each other just for the sex.
