Do they share a crib when they are first born. I was just wondering if people seperate them or keep them together.

For the most part, it is better to keep them together because they already have a bond and if one has problems, having them together soothes it. My friend had twins a boy and girl, the boy had problems when he was born and they put them together in the hospital. It helped the boy out so much. My twin nieces slept together for the longest time. Then when I was in the hospital after I had my youngest son, there was a set of twins in the crib together and there were triplets that were together as well.

It depends on you and the twins. My boys slept together fro about 5 months till they were too big to share a crib without waking the other one up. They had no problems being seperate cribs at that point. They did like to be near each other when they were little. They still share a room and wont sleep if the other isnt in the room but dont sleep in the same bed

that all depends on what the mother wants. My twin girls shared a crib shared a toddler bed and now that they are 3 we just now got them to sleep in seperate beds..
we had 2 cribs, 2 toddler beds and everything, they just chose to sleep together, and as newborns my girls just slept WAY better when they were in the same crib.

it is personal choice.
I kept mine together for the first 10 weeks - it was just easier that way to try to keep them on schedule and feed them/change them at the same time.

I separated them when they were about 3 months old because they were learning to cry it out and fall asleep and then they were separated to keep from waking one another up. I belong to a twins club and there are wide variations in choice but those variations likely depend on their situations... some people just don't have enough bedrooms to separate them.

Hope this helps the curiosity.

Mine slept in the same crib until about 3 months. Now they're 20 months old and sleep in the same room in different beds. Some mornings I go in there and one has crawled into the other ones bed. It doesn't bother me.

twins are created, developed, and swaddled in there mothers womb side by side for nine months i think twins become very comfortable and familiar sleeping together and just being around one another period. i would definitely put them in a crib together because it would be a comfort to them both, they know each other, and they know when he/she is close by and separating them might make it difficult for them to sleep. but that's just my opinion

Either one. Some put them in different cribs, some put them together. Up to you.

it's really up to you if you want them together or not... But most of my friends parents seperate them...just because they might move a lot..and you dont wnat them hitting eachother by a accident
