wow. i thought this was a Q on the boobage again! LOL. I was almost ready to delete the other answer and post it here, because i didn't see this one at first!! LOL.
BUT i see you've asked on diamonds. I'd prefer real, as i do not like anything that is Fake.
But, if i am going to spend money to buy jewelry (which i do not do very often, just because i don't wear a lot of jewelry) I want the real deal. Wasting money on fake to me is pointless.

I prefer fake diamonds cuz I think they sparkle and shine more. I would also be too afraid of losing them. I do have a pair of real diamond earrings and a diamond bracelet, but I think my fake ones look better so I wear them more often.

I want to try that thing described by Dr. Sacks in "Uncle Tungsten", putting a diamond to your lips. It's a very good conductor of heat, so it's supposed to feel cold, like metal.
