It worked perfectly fine when i started it up in the morning and when i go thome from school this started happening its been about 4 days help!

Monitors go into power save mode automatically upon loss of video signal. First check the simple things like the connection to your video card etc.

If you have another computer or lap top available see if the monitor works. If you can move the problem to another machine then you have a problem with the monitor.

I have a nuisance problem with a PC I own where occasionally the video card doesn't produce an output upon restart after the PC was shutdown. I found that unplugging the power supply from the AC mains for 20 seconds allowed the video card to reset. This PC doesn't completely shutdown but goes into a low power standby mode. See if this works for you
