any way to fix a hand pump that kids opened to check out. Left with washers, nuts and pieces.?

pump is new so really don't want to buy another one. bought this so that kids can't break it right away. But what do ya know?

Go to "Tractors Supply" or any other equipment dealer, they almost always carry these things.

I take it its a air pump, there should be 2 leather washers, shaped like a cup, put the first one on the shaft faceing up, then a washer second one faceing down, washer then nut, pinch cups to get it back into the tube, then screw on the shaft guide cap,
