I am not sure if you meant this question to be funny...but....just the visual of that collision is hilarious.
Then I read "eldorado's" answer and I was doubled over laughing.
So I am gonna try and get serious here....from what I've been reading in the soap mags, Emily won't be a "ghost" like Alan. Whatever TPTB are planning for Nick and Em is supposed to be the greatest love story ever for the soaps. I am just anxious to see and hear whatever the new word of explanation for Emily's appearances is gonna be. Also, will she have to remain in the same white ball gown until May???
Stay tuned, there's gonna be some new and interesting things happening on GH.

I could kind of see that happen. But I think she would be more of a figment of Nickolis' imagination. For Monica, if she sees Emily's ghost, I could see Alan and Emily collide. I still can't believe that they killed her off. She was never my favorite but I kinda liked her. She was a good supportive character.

Supposedly Emily isn't a ghost nor a figment of Nik's imagination. If she's not a ghost then I don't think they will meet. I'm looking forward to this storyline. It's supposed to be the love story to end all love stories. It should be a great ride.

Nah, Alan is Tracy's conscience, he isn't really a ghost. Emily will be something similar for Nikolas

No, they haven't indicated that they will take the story that way. I think Emily is just in Nikolas's head. I just doin't know what else she could be if she isn't a ghost and they have said she is not and that she is dead. I think he will dream her up to get through this and when he can figure out what happened to her and clear up his health problems, she will go on.

I agree that Emily is not a ghost. I think the vision of her that Nikolas is having is an extreme case of wishful thinking. I think it may go away after he is diagnosed and treated...if he lets them treat him. If Nikolas thinks that Emily's "ghost" will leave...he may refuse treatment and the "mystery" will go on for months in the storyline.

interesting question. were they still upset about her relationship with sonny? that would be a good storyline. if they did that, they'd probably end alan and emily's run on the show with them making up. :(

The way GH has taken turns and twists the last yr and a half with both short term characters and long time regulars getting 'Bumped off' as Sonny would say, and with Night Shift thrown in this summer , I wouldn't be surprised if GH had a nite time version called "General Hospital Afterlife" with everyone coming back to intermingle with the living and just a few "alive" people seeing them

An Explosive interest and a livid heated fireplace of pent up thoughts unleashed like a wave of unstoppable rigidity hitting and inflicting the most wild and untamed Love ever regular. :)

YOU KNOW I NEVER THOUGHT ABOUT THAT, MAYBE THEY WILL AND SHE'LL FINAL KNOW THAT TRACY WAS TELLING THE TRUTH ABOUT SEEING ALAN. NOT THAT IT WOULD MAKE A DIFFERENCE IF EMILY KNOWS, BUT I'M JUST SAYING.
