I use Playtex Drop ins I think they work really good. But to each their own, try a few, use what works for you and your baby.
Good luck

I breastfed. I was also told I had supply issues early on by people I know. I couldn't pump anything for over a month and a half and even then 1-2 ounce at the most. But my daughter kept gaining weight and oh my gosh the amount of pee and poop. She went from the 34th percentile to the 93rd in two months. Obviously I did not have supply issues. I also was told to supplement because she ate constantly around the clock et etc etc. I just ignored them since my daughter was doing well although I was exhausted lol. I later learned that the two hour time for breastfed babies was very generous. Most of the women I know breastfed much sooner than that. I am saying this because it seems that even though I know a lot of people who breastfeed so many people still do not know much about it. So even though I was in an environment that was pro-breastfeeding, I felt pressured to formula feed because people had certain notions about what a good supply was. I contacted a Le Leche League for more information. My nipples hurt for a couple of weeks and then it went away. There was definitely an adjustment period but I just decided that I was going to breastfeed no matter what. I would have stopped if my baby was not thriving.

get the simplest bottles possible! I tried them all and what I learned was that when you have a crying baby at 2:00a.m., you haven't slept in 3 days, and your hormones are going nuts the last thing you are capable of doing is assembling 37 parts of a bottle! I had a bunch of the vent-air bottles and I swear I wasted so much formula (which is really expensive), because I would be filling bottles and look down on about the 3rd one and realize that formula was pouring off the counter top and all over the floor because I forgot to screw the bottoms on. I know you think you would never do something that stupid, but sleep deprivation can really mess with you! Seriously, three parts are best - bottle, nipple, ring...that's all you need!

Well I bfed for 6 mos, and was supplementing with the Soothie bottle, but then one day he decided he was not going to drink from that bottle anymore. We fortunately had some of the playtex dropins as well and he did a little better. I went and got the latex nipple and he is a happy camper now. This also coincided with his teething, and the Soothie nipples are kind of hard(they're silicone). The latex are very pliable and soft so I guess this is what we're stuck with.

i used so many different ones but in the end the ones that worked the best for us were the Dr.Browns bottles they are a pain in the butt to clean so I tried the Ventaire ones but they leaked all over the place so we went back to the Doc more cleaning but at least my baby is happy. we also tried the soothies but the nipple was too hard and gerber the flow was too fast, second nature bottles were our first choice because I thought since it said it was like mother's nipple and I was also breast feeding it would be a good transition (NOT) I don't know whos nipple they used as model because those nipples are way too big and way too hard he hated those and so did I!

Just your standard cheapo Parent's Choice brand found at Wal-Mart. My son didn't like Avent or Doc Brown.

He's older now and we use plain Evenflo bottles sometimes. He transitions to those equally well.

I used the AVENT system, first the hand pump and bottles, they even have a wonderful bottle sterilizer (for those who don't have a dishwasher, this is REALLY helpful!!!).
