Sounds like you have a bigger problem than you might think,if the tiles are falling off...I had the same thing happen to me, I live in an apartment 2 tiles fell off ..water got in behind them, through cracks in the grout and caused mildew/mold to grow behind them causing the adhesive/glue to deteriorate. If I were you I would check for mildew/mold..you will know it when you see it, normally black,,if this is the case get a pro to take a closer look at it ...mildew/mold can be very bad for your health..if you don't see anything like that,,for a quick fix,let the area dry out, where the tiles fell off, scrape& sand, tiles too, go to your local hardware store and tell them what has happened and you need small can of adhesive/glue& grout,,and follow the direction on the product you buy..you can do it,,it's really no big deal....

Tiles put on correctly are put on with thin-set mortar.
That's what the lines are on the wall where the tile was.
While you can use glue as mentioned you can also use the same grout that you will need to fill in the edges around the tile with, or a small amount of thin-set mortar.
Remove as much of the lines on the wall as possible and the existing grout from the edges of the tile, as the new (fortified) grout will keep the water from getting behind the tile again.
There is simple step by step instructions on the grout
container.
When you are finished installing the tile wait a couple days and apply a sealer to the new grout.

How To Fix Bathroom Tile

First you want to clean off the area from which the tiles fell. Then take a small piece of sand paper to clean and roughen the area lightly. With a spackle knife apply a thin amount of flexible white cement based tile adhesive (Acrylic Based). Mount the tile back into place and clear the space around the tiles of debris and excess adhesive. next apply grout around the tile once the cement has full cured. let the grout set and the clean away the excess grout before it gets too hard. try not to get the tiles wet for about 24 hours after that. Good luck :)

hi
been there done that, but its not hard to do
first take a smooth blade knife like a putty knifeand cleanthe area they were in, if any mildew there spray it with bleach water, rinse and let it dry completely. Apply liquid nail to the center and around edges but not so close to edge that it will oose out. center the tile in position,
place a piece of painters tape across tile to hold in place til the liquid nail dries, it will work well without leaving sticky residue. leave at least 24 hr to dry completely, then mix up some caulking and go around tile, using original color. let dry and then spray a clear sealer on it. you will be up and going.
good luck, Pat

First you need to make sure the wall is not rotting. If the tiles just fell off, more than likely water got behind them. If you push on the wall and it moves, then the wall will have to be redone. How long ago was the tile put on? Who put in on? If it was a contractor, he should have to redo the wall.

(2) Find a guy/gal in the flooring/ceramic tile aisle and ask them the same question.

(3) Take notes.

(4) Go to a different big-box store (Home Depot, Lowes, Rona).

(6) If the answer in (5) matches the answer in (2), do it. If not, go to step (1) and repeat.
