Humphrey Bogart "Maltese Falcon"
Burt Lancester "Gunfight at the OK Corral"
Sidney Poitier "Guess Who's Coming to Dinner" (confession: I've only seen one other movie with him "Sneakers", but the conversation with his father really turned around how I thought about parent / child relationships.)
John Wayne "The Searchers"
Paul Newman "The Hustler" (favorite performance) "The Sting" (favorite movie)
Charlton Heston "Ben Hur"
Jack Lemmon "Glengarry Glen Ross"
Unfortunately, I haven't seen a lot of the performances that really gave these guys a name. Oh well, another goal to aspire to.
