I don't know. Why are you bringing this up now? Don't you think the Jewish people have been through enough?

All of them could have been saved, if the western powers had dealt resolutely with Hitler in the first place, instead of trying to pacify him. The United States, even after the war started in 1939, considered it to be a European conflict and wished to stay neutral.

Not everyone felt that way. Many Americans came to Canada, and served honourably and sometimes heroically in our armed forces--and some gave their lives for a cause that their government was not yet supporting.

Read that America was aware of Jewish plight in Europe but was more focused on war effort. Some US corporations even willingly made a profit from 'slave labour' factories in Germany and Nazi-occupied countries.

I'm not sure what you are asking

From the holocost? yes. All we would have had to do is not turn back the boats.
From general persecution? Would have just taken some one to stand up.
From a Christian perspective? That is more difficult to have evidence for, but I think probably.
