which college do you suggest for someone who wants to major in whether music (vocal, instrument) and doctor(doctoring?)?

somewhere near southern california.
i live near the los angeles county and i want to be close to my family too.

Sorry, Cameron. It is not true that there are no colleges in L.A. which offer both of those majors, especially when you consider that doctoring isn't a major at all, so what you really want is a pre-med program or a program in something like biology which funnels many of its students into medical school. In fact, I would suggest that MOST schools offer both opportunities. I'm on faculty at Loyola Marymount University, and we definitely have both. So do other decent liberal arts universities like Occidental College and Pomona College. You could also find both music and pre-med programs at UCLA and UCI, or at USC, and at pretty much all of the CSUs in the area.

There are no schools in LA that offer both of those majors. However, you should be able to find one in the area using www.collegeboard.com they have a comprehensive college search. I think you will find what youre looking for in a big school.

Dear Neniaf, Thank you for pointing out that doctoring isnt a major. However, I still argue that there are no schools in LA that offer doctoring, let alone doctoring AND music.
