I love the stenciled quote idea. My personal thought is "When we were very young"

That's the title of the 4th Winnie the Pooh book and it's fitting, because you're baby will be very young!

You know how all the animals lived in big trees? Could you paint a big hollowed out tree on the wall? Or make one for in the corner of the room?

You could make a sign post too. Like one way pointing to Christopher Robin's house and one to Piglets house, things like that.

I hope this helps! Good luck and congratulations!

my daughter has a 'Tigger and winnie the pooh' doona cover on her bed with the quote "dream of happy somedays..." written accross the bottom. Its so cute! All yellow writing in a old -script type of font.

I would also paint lifesized butterflys and honey pots on the walls and bees buzzing around them. too cute!

I just found this site that has direct quotes from the winnie the pooh series. Some are so cute...

best of luck and have fun doing the nursery up!

paint the whinnie the pooh butterflies and characters on the walls.. make them life-sized.
make the nursery the COLOURS of stuff to do with whinnie the pooh. Make sure all the bedding, curtains, toys, are the same theme.
the stenciling of the quotes is cute.. you could put them in squiggly lines followed by little lines indicating the words were carried by bees (if that makes sence!)

I love that.
I have the cutest winnie quotes.

“If ever there is tomorrow when we're not together.. there is something you must always remember. you are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think. but the most important thing is, even if we're apart.. i'll always be with you.”

“Nobody can be uncheered with a balloon”(that'd be cute if you painted on a balloon then wrote that inside the balloon)

"When late morning rolls around and you're feeling a bit out of sorts, don't worry; you're probably just a little eleven o'clockish."(maybe over the crib)

hope I helped.
