Would a black macbook still be a good editing laptop for writing scripts, usin final cut and other video apps?

It all depends on the size of the hard drive and the soft ware and drivers. As long as you have plentyof space and a good program you shouls have no problem building your own script.

The color of a computer has absolutely no effect whatsoever on the machine's usage. It's what's on the inside that counts! LOL! And yes, a MacBook of ANY color should be just fine ;P
