I read Admiral Morison's work, "The Struggle for Guadalcanal," but it's too naval-oriented. I need one history that interweaves ALL the phases of the campaign--land, sea, and air.

Thank you for your help!

Guadalcanal: The Definitive Account of the Landmark Battle, by Richard B. Frank, is excellent. It is quite an all encompassing and exhaustive work on the entire campaign.
