How long does it takes to earn your medical doctor degree?

It takes four years of a standard college. Once you have completed that, you have to go to med school for atleast 3 years, most of the time for four. After you become a resident and get paid around 35,000 for 3 to 4 years based on what specialty you choose. The if you would like further training, you go into fellowship. So before you start working independently, around 11 years, 7 or 8 to become a doctor. I think

3-4 years for a Bachelors degree plus 4 years of medical school are the minimums. But specialty Doctors, such as surgeons, might require more.

At least 7 years of college, then spending years in your chosen field learning from other doctors.

Four years for your B.A. then 4 more years for your Doctorate. (Not 3 more...FOUR more...that's if you don't have to take anything over again.,)
