It is for fashion or editorial of any sort. But you could certainly do print or promotional modeling. There are lots of great local agencies out there and online portals that can help you market yourself!

25 is too old to start runway or high fashion (most models start runway in their mid to late teens...and are done by 25). 25's fine for catalog and promotional modeling though. Stores like Target, Macy's etc. don't want 19y.o. in their ads (unless it's Juniors) since this doesn't appeal to their customer base. Good catalog models can usually work into their mid 30's. After that there's lots of promotional work.

If you start in, have a thick skin and realize that you'll hear "no" a lot more than "yes." Modeling is rough; two photogs on the set will stand right next to you and say "She has nice legs, but that *** is huge, can't we get someone thinner?" as if you weren't standing right there. Be prepared to be treated like an object, cause it's not your personality that they're shooting.

If you were to list ALL the obstacles to a successful modelling career, being too old at 25 would NOT be in the top three! If you were 16 and setting out down this road, I would say to you that it's going to be TOUGH! I would say that it's more likely that you will fail than succeed. Maybe it's even tougher at 25, but if you've got the look, the personality, the persistence, etc., I'm not going to be the one to say that you're too old. ESPECIALLY given the fact that today models are allowed more latitude than ever before to be heavier and older than ever before.

Lord bless.

In the modeling industry it is an old age to start but Tyra Banks stopped at about 30 or 35 I think. If you have the personality, can walk and the look they are looking for 25 is not too old to start.

I have a question to your question. This is question is not for the newborn category unless you have a new born. Go for your dreams and don't worry about the baby, he/she will be fine.

What type of modeling are you thinking? The fashion industry is a beast, and they like them young, very tall, and very thin. You're never too old to do modeling in catalogs, print ads, etc. People always need a wide variety of ages and faces so plug away! The thing you're going to need to invest in is a portfolio. Find a reputable photographer and get ready to shell out some dough..it's not cheap. But the end results can be very rewarding! Just be sure to be able to take criticism well and know that it can be a tough means of financial stability! Good luck to you!!

Hell no! If a 95 year old lady can be a college graduate then a 25 year old can be a model. You're never too old to do anything.

You may not be able to get into the pages of high fashion magazines, but there are plenty of opportunities for modeling at all ages. Just think about what you see when you open up an ad for a department store or a catalog. They need people of all ages and body shapes for a wide variety of things.

National super modeling, yes. You won't be a Victoria's Secret model since you've already reached your peak according to the industry. You might have a shot at local modeling, department store ads, that kind of thing.

You are never to old and I believe from 25 to 36 are some of women's most beautiful years. If you get a chance, go for it.

Well, I think technically yes, but really I think the modeling agency likes seeing new faces. If you're beautiful and unique looking, the age shouldn't matter as much. But don't give up either way!
