I'm going to a toga party, and I guess i am going to pick up some fabric somewhere to make my toga? something cool like leopard print or something. but how does one make a toga? i kinda want to make a small sexy toga

Well, when I had a toga party back in the 70's, in celebration of the movie "Animal House", we just used a sheet. You have to cut a hole in it for your head, then you pull it over your head and let it rest on your shoulders. You have to pull one side up over your shoulders (revealing your shoulder) and let the rest of it hang down. Don't let it go any lower than your knees. Follow these intstructions and then look in the mirror and adjust it to fit, darlin'. Have fun at your party and I just wish I could see a picture of you in it. I bet you will rock! Peace!
One more thing: use a piece of rope to tighten it up around your waist. This will also help it look authentic. Good luck, Roz.

Togas don't use leopard prints traditionally. But I'm sure you can pull it off. Just play around and play with the fabric until you cover most of the juicy parts. I' m sure you'll be a hit. Will you model it for us?

Two ways to do it. Wrapping and sewing. Which way do you want to do?
You can either wrap it one and a half times around your waist. Then go up and over one shoulder. Come back over the front and attach back at waist line. You will have to stretch it to make sure it covers both sides and you must wear tanktop and shorts under it b/c togas slip very easily.
The other idea is sewing. You take a basic shealth design. Basically a long tank top. Cut out two matching sides. Put them inside out and sew down the sides. Flip it right side out and tie the straps together in a knot. Then take some gold cording and twist it it around the bust to emphasize it.
